I International Symposium on Cell and Gene-Based Therapies
The 'I International Symposium on Cell and Gene-Based Therapies' in Granada, Spain, which will take place on June 28th - 29th 2012. During this Symposium, a broad range of topics in advanced therapies will be discussed, including stem cell and gene therapy, biomaterials and tissue engineering as well as European Regulation for the development of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, among others. A special emphasis will be placed on clinical translation of regenerative medicine in different medical specialties, on issues regarding intellectual property and on educational challenges in the field of advanced therapies.
This symposium organized by the, Andalusian Initiative for Advanced Therapies and the University of Granada with the collaboration of the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Health, will bring together world leaders in different areas of regenerative medicine and advanced therapies, along with young researchers wishing to present their work to the scientific community, as a poster or an oral presentation. It also represents an opportunity to find out more about some successful case studies and lessons learnt in the development of business models in this field.
